You have two choices: (1) extend the time line, if that is possible, or (2) accept that the final outcome will be less than would be the case had the student practiced on her own.
Becoming an accurate, competent reader doesn't necessarily mean your student will want to read more. What it does mean is that if he wants to, he will be good at it and actually enjoy doing so!
Our son continues to do very well with his reading. He is so very proud of himself and we certainly are proud of him too. We will never hesitate to recommend you and will always be grateful for your giving him the best of help with his reading.
She's doing absolutely perfect work. In first and second she got everything wrong; couldn't even read the directions on the sheets. You've given me back the daughter I had before she went to school. By the end of second grade she was in the gutter. Now she's at the top
